Workshop: The workshop
was split up in two parts. The first part was a writing workshop (led
by Gabriele Welke), the second part consisted of creative work (led by
Solveig Senft). A picture and background information on a woman who was
important and works as a role model was brought by each participant. The
selection ranged from famous women like Tina Turner, Doris Day, Ingeborg
Bachmann or Frieda Kahlo to women from private surroundings, like mothers,
sick sisters or an Irish poet friend who died at an early age. Short texts/poems
on these women arose through easy methods of creative writing.
